I have the above named dropper post with the ultralight Recourse cable. It is ready to use but I need to shorten it. I've tried to remove the cable from the little jaw that goes into the junction box without success. Is this possible? Any tips would great.

You need to pull the outer cable down and remove the ferrule from the box first.
Then you can unclip the inner cable.

Sorry.....probably never explained properly. I've removed the cable from the box, the issue I'm having is removing the cable from the locking cable end.

I think you're supposed to put a new plastic insert between the grub screw and cable when you reconnect it. Stops the screw cutting the cable.
Really? I didn't know that so I'll bear it in mind. The post was purchased used so I don't think it had one before. Its working so I'll see how I go on.
