Looking at getting one of these in 31.6 with the remote lever. Other option is the new rock shox, which I'm pretty confident would be good, it's just so expensive. Anyone got any views on them? Long term life, function, etc?

There was a review in last months ? What Mountain Bike. The KS got a 7, and the Rock Shox got a 10 (I think).
I definately know that the RS got a far better write up. It also looks far better being all black.

If my friends' examples are anything to go by, the warranty department for Pure Racing is probably quite busy- they are very willing to offer repairs.
10/10 reviews of new and not properly (real world) tested products are a funtion of how shiny they look and how much advertising space you buy in the magazine.
Personally I think an ugly, overpriced tube with a spring and bolt in it is the way to go, especially if you ride in the mountains.
