I am 6' 1" - 185cm
Is a 20" Kona Unit too big ?

In a word yes. I am 6'2" with a 32" inside leg and I found a 19" too big
In the end I went for an older 18"
20" would be like a gate. IMO that is

I'm 6'4", 34" isl, and rode a 20" which was a cracking ride. I think you'd be 19", or 18" if you like a smaller frame.
The only thing I didn't care for was the built in mud shelf behind the bb. If you can live with that they're GREAT!

i'm 5' 11" and the 18" fits me fine, 20" would be just right. IMO that is
in a word, only you will know

I was after an ebay 20"
It was a bit pricey anyway so I will pass & wait a tad longer.
