Has anyone owned or ridden one of these? Any knowledge?
Got to say its tempting for a Summer Les Arcs & Occassional uplift day bike at that price?! 😆

That's not the Process range that everyone's raving about, it's "old" Kona versus "new" Kona.
May well be an OK bike, but it dates from before their big leap forward in geometry and lightness
having been tempted by it (and not being an expert on the kona range) I came to the same conclusion - undoubtedly a good value bike but its an old "faux bar" kona with a new name. Nothing wrong with that, I had great fun with a 2004 Coiler, but it might not be what you think it is.
Im aware its not the new one, but the few reviews of the 2013 model seem to be favourable & considering the price & its intended use, it still seems great VFM?
Well I bought one for those exact same reasons TimC. Used code EXTEN and paid £1215. Seems sturdy enough and not too heavy. Don't ask me how it rides until springtime 😀
It's got some decent spec, but I'd sooner spend that money on a Canyon or YT

Sadly or maybe luckily that code no longer works, any upgrades planned before you use it? Brakes maybe?
I do happen to have a spare set of SLX lying around. Would be better to sell the Avids while they're still new. The Kronolog is the only other thing that concerns me.
Our guide in Les Arcs last year had one of these and he was ripping on it. I asked him if he had any problems with it and he said it was one of the few bikes that he hadn't broken. It was totally standard and the only grumble he had was with the brakes. He said that they often overheated and needed bleeding. He had Shimano brakes on his previous bike and they were faultless.
For that price it is a bargain. It doesn't matter if it's he new or not, for that price you aren't going to get anything better. The geometry is still contemporary - long and slack. Change the brakes for SLX's and sell the Avids.
Buy it 🙂
So you can now get 10% again... £1215 all in, still very tempted
