Hi,

I quite fancy one of these Konas but I'm really not sure which size to get. As the chances of a demo are virtually nil I thought I'd consult the collective wisdom of the STW forum.

I'm 6ft3in or 190.5cm tall and according to Wiggle's size chart I should be on a L or XL. Closer to the Large I hasten to add by a small margin. The thing is arm wise I'm a bit of a gibbon - my arms and legs are a bit long for my body (shirt sleeves always short). This suggests to me that I might manage on the XL but as the Process has a short 40mm stem there will not be much to play with if I get the XL only to find out I'm a bit too stretched.

So any other Kona Process riders of a similar size have any wise words to share?

Thanks

Andrew.

I'm a shorter variety of gibbon and find that the upside of long arms is I'm comfy on quite a range of sizes and that frames have to be quite short for them to be too short (unlike if my body was longer).

The other thing I'd bear in mind is your predominant riding - I was borderline medium or large on my Spitfire (similar animal to the 153) but because the riding around here is very tight and twisty I went for the medium with a 50mm stem rather than the large with a 35mm stem, to keep the wheelbase from being ridiculously long (it's 46" as it is!)
