Hi all,

I will shortly be taking collection of my 2015 Kona JTS ๐Ÿ™‚

Im changing the chainset & bb before I even use it, because I don't like BB30.

Im stuck now for ordering a Praxis convertor because I don't know what width the bb shell is.

Im ordering it in advance so I can get the shop to fit it upon collection.

Thanks in advance,

Alan.

My old one was 68mm, but that was 2009 model.

Probably best contact the importer or email Kona. Do they have a frame only option on their website? Should show these critical dimensions.

What's wrong with BB30? I have one on my PX road bike and it's been fine for 3 years.

EDIT- just had a look at the Kona website and it says JTS is PF30 bb, not BB30.

So you will need the PF converter. The ones in my Stumpy Evo are just press in sleeves with a standard BB thread inside. I used some spacers to get the chainline right as it has a direct mount mech so took some fiddling. You should be ok with the converter and standat BB with spacers.
