What's the longest travel fork you can put on an Explosif? I would like to slacken the HA a bit. I am currently running Reba SLs.

It's a 2006, I believe. Hmmm, might have to think about getting a new frame and fork.

100m? Jesus, you're not wrong.

Anyway, it's not the increased travel I want, it's the slacker HA, but the two invariably go hand in hand, to a certain extent.

What are you saying? That I'm an unskilled bike bungler? ๐Ÿ˜€

I have my full-suss for scary duties. The hardtail is for local mucking around, which involves some stair jumps, general skills building etc. Fancy something with slacker angles though, that feels closer to my full suss.

Yeah, they are pretty pricey though. Was maybe thinking of an On-one Summer Season, or maybe a Dialled Alpine. Doesn't have to be steel though.

So how are you doing mate? You going to be in Whistler next year?

If it's a SAT 14.5 with the longer head tube; 130 NO PROB at all!
Got 130's on both of mine, but the older one is happier running a bit shorter

Just stick the longer fork on it, it'll slacken the angle as you say. I'm sure the head tube will cope with the extra stress unless you're doing big Alpine descents and drop-offs.
I've run several frames with forks longer than they're designed for (I like it slack too) and have never had a problem.
