Since they stopped being distributed by Paligap, they seem to be appearing everywhere - CRC, my local LBS (OK, not everywhere, but you get the idea).
Is this a good thing? It might be a good way of getting rid of old stock, but all the discounting has got to be bad in the long term for the brand?
They have produced some iconic bikes - Lavadome, Cindercone, Explosiv, Jake The Snake, Unit, I'd hate them to go the way of Raleigh.

too late for that i think. My favourite bikes where my old steel cindercone and caldera in the late 90's. Wonder if i can get hold of a cheap 2+2 though, they look luvvverly...
Never liked them, so has no effect on me.
imo Kona lost it the year they stopped doing the Steel Cindercone. Hate the looks of their hardtails though some of the full bouncers look nice.
