Not for this year but probably next August...would be for 4 days. What accommodation, if any, is there? Are there recognised must-do trails or is it a follow your nose type place?
Cheers.
Eat at doune dining room.
You won't regret it.
We stayed at a b&b, got lucky on a last minute cancellation. Think it gets booked out. You can camp but don't fancy August midges.
Walking or riding?
Lovely place for a few days relaxation.
The OS maps shows all the relevant tracks.
The Knoydart Foundation bunkhouse looks quite nice. Though I think it can get booked up months in advance.
Biking..potential 40th birthday idea...
It wouldn't be my choice of places to go cycling.
Nor mine - it took us ten days just to cross the peninsula on foot and I can hardly remember anywhere I thought: "A bike would be good here".
And the midges in August will be murderous.
Ok, thanks for the pointers...I'll think of something else...
If there's a few of you then you could book a day or 2 with Minch adventures and get a boat in.
