A slight knock at the rear of my Blur turns out to be due to a work bushing at the bottom of the Monarch shock. I pushed it out of the shock and it's worn enough to feel a slight "step". How much damage can I do riding it for a couple of days - or are there any "quick fixes" I can apply?

Swap em round, one end will be less worn than the other. Might squeeze a bit longer out of it.

Wrap a bit of electrical insulation tape round it, will do the trick until you get a replacement

Too little clearance for electrical tape but I managed to squeeze in some PTFE tape which appears to have done the trick.

I knew someone whose bushing survived on a diet of cling film for several years...
