Hi all, gone down the flat pedal route, have been using an old hammered pair of 661 downhill knee/shin pads, seen as I am now going to stick with it,its time to start saving up for a desent pair, any recomendations,3-4 hour rides up and down are about the norm for me,the 661 kylie straight(or who ever)ones look just the job but because you have to buy the knee and shin pads separately they work out pricey, any thoughts?

The seperate neoprene sleave can be worn on it's own too, but when worn with the hard pads mean you barely feel the pads when pedalling. Never slip either.

I've got the 661 ones that look like storm trooper legs.

I like them.
