what knee pads for general, all day, up and down, trail centre riding
considerations being, mobility while wearing, heat/comfort, price, other?
I know some of you like them, some of you dont see the point, what should be on my shopping list?
Very pleased with POC's for 'just riding around for the day' use
Watching this with interest.
Am looking for a pair of soft kneepads for the summer.
I'm using some G-Form pads - including elbow ones, since I smashed it up badly last summer.
The bright yellow ones ๐
The large size seems to fit my body well, and not move around.
Very happy with my Fox Launch knee pads, forget I have them on most of the time, comfy for several hours of riding.
not heard of G-Form *googles*
I used to recommend 661 knee pads but my latest ones don't seem as comfy - definite chafing behind the knees after long rides. I'm hearing good things about POC and Oneal ones...
Got an Endura pair. Took them on a recent trip down Snowdon (first time I have worn pads, a bit nervous about the ride). Very comfy and did not rub, but size up as they are quite small.
Think they are MT500
I have 661 Kyle Straits. Very comfy, BUT:
How do you wash them? They're beginning to pong....
Washing machine, chuck in a pillow case if you're worried about them getting damaged.
thanks. I'll give it a go...
