My knee pads have started to slip due to the silicone gripper coming away. The pads are in good nick so rather than throw them away, I was wondering?
1. Can you buy the stuff they use?
2. Anyone bothered with this and come up with a alternative that stays stuck to the material and does the job?
Hate throwing stuff away!!
Cheers
silicone bath sealant?
Id find out what kind of silicon it is then google that then see if you can buy a flat sheet on ebay.
Cut a strip, then Copydex it on and if you have a seam roller for wallpaper in your toolbox, apply maximum pressure with that.
Cut the tops off some hold-ups and see them on.
Some good ideas here! will look into the stuff they use, if no joy will have a go at the other ideas. Cheers!
There is only one answer.

You have to admit, it is exactly what they are for.
I use this stuff to repair wetsuits and kayaking spray decks. Tough and flexible.
If you have run some on the inside and leave to dry it should do a similar job.
