My old 661 hard shell pads have died, and I want something with shin protection against rocks/crashes/brambles etc when in the alps.
What works for you?
I'd prefer a type where I can just strap on from the front (no having to take shoes on/off) if possible, and not too hot!

POC Bones
For extra security you can slide them on and then strap them up or just use the straps, I tend to just use the straps.
Coverage is great and they're a lot cooler than they look as they actually sit off/away from your shins.
Expensive but worth it imo.
