Was pretty much unbeatable with cloudless skies & near zero traffic. Struggled a little ascending Mcmoab, not made for SPDs, but the chute was ok after some loin girding.

Looks superb, one of my favourite trails, quite local to me so I'm spoilt. Hope ypu had a great day, I'm going on saturday.

Yep - Glentress was awesome today too. Let's hope the weather holds as I am at Kirroughtree on Thursday.
Yeah - my first visit; a little out of the way from Edinburgh, so stopped the night in Newton Stewart on the way back from Manc-unia. Liked the trail lots, not as relentless as GTress black, but better use of natural features I think. Only regret was not having photo-sensitive glasses going out of bright sun into shady woods... Won't be saying that in a months time!
