Hi,
Does anyone have any campsite recommendations near Kirroughtree? We've stayed at Barnsoul Farm before and found it pretty good but would like to be a bit closer if possible 🙂
Good showers a must, sites with close proximity to food and a pub will also be awarded higher marks.

Downside is it's about 40 minutes from Kirroughtree but the campsite is wonderful and Kippford village is really nice.

there is a pub/ bar on site and its near enough to ride to the trail.
creetown, cyclepath the whole way to the trails (about 3 miles) little shop and odd pub in the village
hot clean showers at the site were good too
We once camped in the car park, bit cheeky but it was only for one night so we waited til it was quiet before puttin the tent up and were packed up again early doors. Had a chinese in Newton Stewart if I remember rightly.
I've pitched in the car park too, we're doing a few days riding though so could do with a shower 🙂
sssimon- is that the castlecary site then?
