I fancy doing this on Saturday, but dont really have time to do both that the red. Is there a way I can drive to the bottom of Blackcraigs and just do the black route. It looks like you can just carry up the A712 and use a small access road to reach the bottom of the trail. Wasn't sure if it was accessable but. Anyone help that has done this, or knows if it can be done??
I know you can get to the area near Mcmoab on a road as I saw some people parked there when I did it.

It's a hell of a drive just to do the black run!
You can park about 100m away from McMoab on the A712. There's a roadside car park on the opposite side to the access road.
~Thanks. think I might leave it this weeknd and do it when I have more time. AS bob says 2 and a half hours for a 14km cycle is a bit much.
