I am looking to do a mountain day around Kinlochleven. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good route, I have been looking at a map and there seem to be quite a few options.
you could hop onto the ben nevis loop (40-50miles depending on route)from there or head up the west highland way to ft william and back or down the whw over the devils staircase to kingshouse for lunch and then back over the DS and down the ciarnan path to KLL.
try a search too.
anything that finishes as far away from Kinlochleven as possible?
the hills have eyes, the locals are "interesting", the chippy always gives me the shits and the trailrace is a great place for a fight 🙂
Glencoe - Devil's staircase - KLL and round is a classic. Not an all-dayer though, more a morning or afternoon. Link into the Ciaran path descent from the Dam might add an extra dimension (not done this myself).
Go for a spin down to milngavie.
Ciaran Path is one of my all time favourite trails. It's one where a Dropper is extremely useful though.
