Keen to do this but only have a day at a time available to me. What’s the best 100km ish stretch?

Winchester to Avebury is 105km, you get two stone circles and Salisbury plain.

That section takes you through some of the more overgrown parts. What about Farnham to Winchester, station to station. You'd be passing through QECP too.

Farnham to Winchester for sure. Awesome ride. Probably a bit over 100km (115 maybe but feels like more as it’s very hilly) but worth it.

This is a good video. I'd agree with the above, taking in 2 stone circles and some old fortifications.
