I have been planning to change my C X bike this autumn. I don't race, I just go out on club cx rides and get muddy on local bridle ways etc. I was all set on a cube with hydro Shimano brakes. I'm not really getting on with my Giant TCX, partly due to the brakes and partly due to occasionally getting my toe rubbed on the front wheel when turning a sharp corner.
However I have just seen the AT ! It looks brilliant! But could I run Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes and shifters, with a 1+11 XT or similar group Set?

Apparently yes, but you need an aftermarket adaptor. Shiftmate 8 according to the chart in the link.
