I can vouch for Hummerlicious's credentials; he can't half ride that there bike quickly around Stanmer Park - as seen at this year's Brighton BigDog.

Tiny frame?

Just based on how much higher my seat is than my bars, rather than the other way around.

Ha ha, made up for ya, post some pics when it's built up. Recommend the kinesis strut bars, dropper post and a mr king Ti bottle cage. Did you go for direct mount rear mech?

Stop press: looks like they've won best bike brand at bike awards, well done kinesis uk 🙂

Bars do look a bit high on hummerlicious' bike, but then that looks like a 120mm fork, there's an inch or so of headset spacers in there, a flat stem and a riser bar... Probably a bit taller setup than most would run on their 29ers. My current 29er HT has zero spacers, a negative rise stem and flat bars to make sure it's low enough at the front end.

Thanks Napalm 🙂

I know my bars are probably higher than most, but I have a dodgy back and disproportionately long legs!

At least you know where to take it if it does break 🙂

Think these look stunning. Love my FF29.

Yes, I loved my FF29, even though it was only ever "shed sitting" until the Sync made it into production!

Could you move most of the kit from the Kona over?

Pretty much everything yeah. The Kona is superb, but I bought it as a bit of a stop gap til I found (more like can afford) a nicer frame that suits my requirements. Only thing that won't get carried forward would be the fork, I'd put a 120mm on a Sync for sure where the Kona is fine with the 100mm.

Alas not yet. Waiting on parts to arrive. Actually can anyone recommend me some wheels to compliment this build? Want nice light tubeless ready but not sure what to go for. I'm not a particularly aggressive rider...

Can I go for the standard option of crests on hopes?

Mine were absolutely fine on my ff29 and another set is doing great service on my anthem 29er

This.

Next thing you'll be telling us is that it's too good to take out in the winter, so you're waiting for Spring.

Not at all! I am just waiting for all this new fangled 1x11 kit to be delivered and the wheels I wanted are not available till Jan now!

I believe they are going to do this....
