Another near miss. Some total **** overtaking me then turning left about 1m infront of me and smirking!!!!!
Properly had to emergency stop. Caught them up, unleashed verbal torrent and was dismissed totally-"I don't speak English" WTF?! That makes it ok then?
I feel an act of automobile vandalism coming on.

That's one of the things that I have a real problem with, drivers just don't think!
Ride out a bit, take the lane. Usually stops that kind of incident if they don't think there's actually room to overtake. Usually....
Wing mirrors come off easily, so I'm told.....
If they do not speak English they cannot report an assault....
mercedes C220 wing mirrors certainly come off with a determined punch, i seem to recall.
Unfortunately i found out you can't headbutt the driver when his drivers side window is up - even if you try 3 or 4 times...

Use freshly detached wing mirror to remove window - et voila!
ADH - i was in the middle of the lane, coming up to a red light at the junction & the buffoon decided he simply HAD to be in front of me a the lights, leading to a noisy and slightly demented Mercedes/Dwarf interface!
You need to take the road if it isn't safe for cars to overtake - going past a side road is an example of a spot where it is unsafe to overtake…
