the most annoying thing is that people could pick it up or make sure its not in the middle of the path. Unlike the field of cowpats i had to negotiate today. 🙁

Amen to that.

I've been spending a fair bit of time on a local canal towpath lately, running and riding. It's a mixed use area fair enough, but I swear there's more dog eggs than actual track in places.

I appreciate that not everyone wants to walk around with bags of poo (which does beg the question "why did you get a dog then?"), but c'mon, is it -that- hard to stop your pooch from crimping off a length right in the centre of the gorram path?

I think the even more annoying thing is the fu#king idiots who pick up the dog crap in a bag but then leave the shit filled bag hanging on a fence/tree/hedge row/ etc.

What the hell is wrong with you? If you have no intention of actually disposing of it why do you even bother with the bag? Knobs.

Maybe they've read somewhere that riders like to keep logs.

As ive said before, watched a woman carefully bag a doggy sausage, and then when i rode past her, she dropped it back on a new sustrans trail just opened the week before, so stoped and let her go past me, rode back and picked up doggy bag and threw it over the nearest fence, within seconds the owner of the house the other siode of the fence was screaming at this poor woman, about throwing dog sausage over his fence, and he would personally follow her home and post doggy sausage through her door every day.

She tried teling him it wa\s me who had thrown it, but i explained i didnt have a dog attached to my arm, and was rideing a bike, and bikes dont crap on the trails.

Oh revenge is sweet.

Where you went wrong there was tipping it into some poor sod's garden, protocol dictates that the correct placement for the contents of the bag would have been down the back of the owner's collar.
