Intending a day out there tomorrow. Anyone been before?
Any must include recommendations. Or direction on something that emulates the K100 conditions, only not as stupid long obviously, 50 miles maybe.

Do the bloody bush bit... and then tell me what its like. You could probably do all the trails for 50 miles. Bloody bush, new blue, deadwater, and the lonesome pine plus black for good measure. Go and talk to them at the bike place in the garage and they should be able to sort you out.
Nothing will emulate kielder 100!

Look at the ride over to Newcastleton including the Bloody bush bit. Visitors centre has maps or the guys in the shop can help.
It's not that far but has a good mix of fun stuff and loooong climbs. It's about a third of the 100 route.
Add more on by doing bits of the lonesome pine on route and deadwaer on your return.
