What's it like at Kielder and Hamsterley at the moment? I'm staying round that area from tomorrow for a few days and I fancy a ride... XC loop rather than DH at Hamsterley I reckon, and probably the Lonesome Pine loop at Kielder 'cos I've not done that one.
