Who's up for it? It was discussed before and a few people liked this date.
I suggest start at the castle go round the lake up lonesome pine to the bloodybush trail. Then over to Newcastleton, round there once, back up and over following the remaining lonesome pine to the castle. I think that's around 50 miles as you do virtually 2 full laps of Newcastleton if you want to do all of it (it's worth it IMO). We can add on the deadwater for anyone keen. Open to suggestions on routes so shout up.
I'd be up for this, but could only do the 19th sadly.
19th may be possible if there's more interest.

Weather permitting I am going to try and do something simliar on Saturday from Kielder but solo I am a 75% for the 19th can't do 20th.
I'm in. Would prefer 20th but may consider either (Tynedale Beer festival on the 18th already booked 😯 )

I rode the Border Raid in May so also have a vague idea for a circuit to Newcastleton and back.
On a tangent.... I'm in Hexham at the moment and spotted you (MAC) might be riding Hexham on Sunday... but I'm away this weekend. I am however looking for folk to ride with one I'm moved to Fenham next month.
I was planning on heading over on the 19th can't make the 20th change of plans means I won't make either date.
Err. I am going to be stripping walls and buying bathroom fittings this weekend. It's taking longer than I thought 🙁

I'm becoming a bit less of a regular with doing up a house and training for the Kielder. Seem to do a lot of riding on my own as I need to get in early and fast to fit around DIY. I'm normally out on Thursdays still.
I would have been up for this but at Mountain Mayhem. Rode Newcastleton today but no further just went round twice
Right, I'm still gonna go ride till I get bored. It might be a few miles, depending on if I get any company. By a few miles, it would be nice to get 60 or more done. A couple of loops opver the border should help add that up. The lewisburn trail to destroy your back and the Deadwater for some rattly descending.
