I'm looking for one so I can try some canti brakes on the front of my Tricross. However, the few I've found all seem to need silly postage. I remember when V brakes first came out, we copuldn't throw those hangers away fast enough where I worked. Anyone know where there might be a reasonably priced one?

The kona style is the one that mounts in the hole on the forks where you used to have the reflectors. It seems a common problem with 'cross bikes is a long front brake cable sets up a resonance issue and the best solution I've been told is to shorten that length by mounting the cable stop to the forks rather than up in the stem area.

Yep, I got the usual response. We could order it but they'll be a small parts charge of £5 on top of the part and postage.

I bought mine from cycle express - I did pay postage though.

I don't mind postage but the one I saw was £9 for the part and £4 for postage. Not the end of the world but just seems a bit wrong. I'll give cyclexpress a look then. Cheers.
