Anybody have any experience of this company im particularly interested in the nepal bike ride. Or possibly the atlas mountain ride looks good
Friends used them for the Everest base camp trip and they were very impressed by them. Nothing but praise.
We are now planning a Peru trip with them for 2011, and in the initial meeting with their rep the company came over very well.
Went with them to Kazakhstan in 2006. Superb. You might pay a little bit more than other operators but you know that the trip will be well put together / organised and if anything goes wrong they sort it out. My manager at work has led a number of walking trips for different companies (not KE) and says that you can't go wrong with KE.
Did the multi activity Peru trip in 2005 and they where excellent. No problem recommending them.
did a greece mtb and nepal trip with them - wouldnt touch them again. The greek trip was a tragedy - they course had only neen ridden on a suzuki jeep and consisted of fireroad climbs and road decents! The nepal trip was great but the organisation was rubbish. To quote

Guide 'dont drink water from taps'
Me 'so where do we get water'
Guide 'from shops'
Me - Does the hotel have any water'
Guide - 'no'
Me - 'so what shops are open at 2am'
Guide - 'none'
The food, water supplies and general organisation on the Nepal trip was shocking. They maybe cheap but consider paying more if you like to get the basics right!
Oh and dont even get me started on the 'local charge'!!!!!
i used KE for a biking trip in peru and they were excellent for both organisation and opertaional while there
i have also used others inc exodus but KE were by far the best
