Looking for a lightweight chainset and the KCNCs look as if they fit the bill. Any experiences good/bad?

I've got one, a triple.

Good - light weight, nice finish (I reckon), good shifting, seems quite stiff

Bad - it only takes a kcnc bb which has the worst sealing known to man plus you need to loctite the cranks bolts else it works loose (common problem if you google it)

Would I get another? Probably not. Its fine for dry rides ( or races) but I'm forever worried about the cranks dropping off and carry a 10mm Allen key around just in case, and I'm not a totally rubbish mechanic so I don't think it's my install as I've seen other threads on the same issue.

Meanwhile my xtr cranks are superb! Shame as I generally like kcnc stuff
