Does anyone else think Kashima forks/shocks offer no improvement. Does anyone think this is just marketing hype? I have owned Fox kashima and non kashima forks and i must say i think its an expensive con.
Isn't everything to do with MTBing an expensive con?
There's a noticable difference in the shocks (I've had both, with otherwise identical spec) but it's not massive. Not as big as the cost of the upgrade, anyway.
do they have a more realistic service interval ?
I service my non-Kashima forks once every few years...
esselgruntfuttock has it right
kimbers - Memberdo they have a more realistic service interval ?
They did do the classic Fox "This new coating is more durable" and simultaniously half the service interval, that was good.
They do look nice ....
Think its all a complete con they sell substandard coatings for years and then ask extra for Kashima coating (Emperors new clothes anyone) ๐
Reminds me of Windows Vista that I live with on my laptop, windows had the cheek to allow me to upgrade (for a price) on the crap they sold me.
Yeh but they're gold n that innit
