I saw them in use at the bivouacs on this year's Dakar. [url= http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-rapid-pitch-tent-784076?src=google ]SportsDirect[/url] are selling them for £29.99.
Any good for occasional bike/camp trips, or £29.99 wasted?

fine if your in sheltered spots - have seen them take off into the raasay firth though - contents and all ! in a force 9 - have also seen the outline of the folk inside when the wind has all but folded them over at glen nevis ......both times from the comfort and stability of my vaude taurus !

The Karrimor brand is now owned by Sports Direct so the name no longer guarantees a level of quality that it did a few years ago
