Sorry commuter/road talk....

Just had an email from Brother Cycles, they sell a nice set of Carbon Forks for their Kepler range.

https://www.brothercycles.com/shop/accessories/kepler-disc-carbon-fork/

And with 20% atm, it doesn't seem a bad buy (or guilt-trip the wife for not getting me an anniversary present....)

I'm struggling to find the for offset/rake for theย Kaffenback 2, does anyone know if these forks will be suitable before I try contacting PX? Apart from looks am I going to get much change in the ride? Running 33c (33.33333) so pretty soft up front as it is just between some fairly heavy steel forks.

Would have really liked the VO Pass Hunter FreshTripe has atm....ย been told no....

Anyways thanks in advance.

Cheers, Steve

Hi,

According to PX website Kaff's forks is only 372mm A2C. You are adding almost 3cm by sticking 400mm Kepler forks.

Even if rake is similar that is a lot of change. I would give it a miss...

Cheers!

I.

Lovely, Thanks for the replies!

Top info!

Will keep my eyes out for a nice pair of biplane forks....

Thanks. I've got 28mm durano plus on mine but want to go a bit bigger. Is clearance ok on the rear one or a bit tight?

I could probablyย get 34 or even 35's in there methinks, 33 is as about as wide as I'd like to go in comfort.

Very little mud clearance, I could probably get a pencil around most gaps as most.

These Panaracer are new but rode with Spesh Tigger Sports in 33c during the last couple of winters fine.

Cheers, Steve
