I'm about to order a Kaffenback2 for winter, and I'm strangely drawn to the tea/coffee.

Has anybody seen one in the metal? It's a hard colour to really see on a screen. Is it gopping; do you wish you went for black?

That colour has been around for a while.
I did have a swapout kaffenback a while ago.... in black.

Why the move away from SWAPOUTS. I thought that was a good idea. Did it not work well in the real world? or is it a cost thing?

Cost, weight, and presumably not many people were buying the spare plates? I'd either want a singlespeed, or a winter road bike, I can't imagine I'd bother to swap one bike between them. Especialy as a machiato frame's only £99.

I didn't buy one because of the swapouts, I prefer the cleaner look.

I hadn't realised it was the same colour scheme as before, it looks darker on the PX website. I'll look at more pics tonight, but leaning towards playing it safe with black...
