Not intending to troll, just hoping to inspire someone for a quick after-work ride...For the first time in ages, lobbed on the 2.25 tyres and removed all the gearing (ok, all bar the 34/16 combo!) and went for a blast. Forgot what it's like. Forgot how much fun local trails are when you have no suspension other than your arms and legs. Found it EASIER to get up some of the trails stair sections without suspension - trials style hippity hoppety possible rather than soggy softness.
Now considering respraying the frame and using it more regularly.
