Always on the lookout for some nice wheels for my singlespeed.

Twepted to build myself but the JRA wheels seem like a decent price, no weights though (still don't understand why singlespeed wheelsets all seem to weigh north of 1800g...).

Anyone own a set?

Nope, but I had some of their fat bike wheels, quality was good, as was the service.

Current waiting for some of their carbon road wheels to arrive but been delayed by coronovirus.

Not got the Larks, but have a couple of pairs of the older Jawbone road wheels - one disc, one rim brake. Both have been faultless. Excellent build quality - easily the tightest wheels I’ve owned. No problems with the Bitex hubs either. It’s all just worked.

Not those specific wheels but have 3 sets from them (1 x road, 2 x cross) and they’re all bang on. Exceptionally well built and brilliant value for money. Top service too.

Thanks guys, I seemed to remember JRA had a good rep.

I suppose I could probably build just as good a set myself but the last wheel build I did was just a stress, trying to build nice wheels with a 2.5 year old running about the house, no more restful evenings tinkering at the kitchen table!
