[Closed] Just re-used a shimano connector snap pin will I die?

So I fitted my new xt chain on the wrong side of my frame. I had to remove the pin and reuse it contrary to shimanos recommendation.

Does it really matter?

The correct side but on the wrong side of the chain stay!! Lol

Did you push out the pin you put in or did you choose a different one? It isn't the end of the world but just try and not push out a pin that's been pushed out/in before.
You defo will die. Without a doubt. Eventually.

I just pushed out the one I snapped off then refitted it. Best get some quick links I think

The pins are oversized and permanently deform the outer link if you remove them. So you (probably) won't die but your chain will (probably) break there in future. Take out the link either side and replace with spares using new pins.
