Just changed my cassette from 11-32 to 11-34, not a huge difference, but how do i adjust the rear mech to fit?

I think it misses out 1 cog, when i shift up..

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

It should be OK assuming you changed same width cassettes.

With the 11 selected and the bike in a stand or hooked on the branch of a tree by it's saddle, spi the pedals briskly and manually push the mech up through the gears. You should be able to get them all, and the chain should fall nicely back down the block to the 11.

If it won't go on to the 34. Is the chain too short?

Check the B-tension screw, the 34T cog will be a bit bigger so the mech might be too close to it.

B tension sounds favourite. Not sure but chain length may be an issue so worth checking.

If its missing a gear then surely the indexing isn't quite right. Assume you put a new chain on too? And what they said about your b screw.
