For £100 we can purchase the rights for a single screening.

For a tenner each we could buy one and show it in the function room at The Church? Any excess can be put behind the bar for beer and pies or donated to charity.

If more than 10 people are interested I’ll have a word with Tom the Landlord and see if it is feasible.

It should be a laugh.

Who is up for it?

Not on a school night would be preferable, so I can stop over at our Ed's and not need to drive home. Sounds like a great plan.

I'm in as well 🙂 my vote is to charity any extra raised

EDIT
Just a thought, we should make sure it doesn't collide with the official screening in Hebden as some of the NMPR may be going to that (I was toying with the idea of going to the black tie event also)

Good job, because Matthew is sleeping on your floor.

OK, any excess above the £100 will go to charity.

A Friday sounds like a good call. But pie, beers and bikes are good on any night 😀

Except I found your black tie, (and the suit that goes with it) in a little used suit cover in my wardrobe just the other night. 😳 I'll get it back to you.

I'm as certain about being there on an as-yet-undefined Friday night as I can be 😉

I might be able to get the keys to the community centre next door. perhaps we can leave em in there (you can get changed in there too if you need to).

I’ve not sorted a date or the venue yet. So don’t go trying to book rooms! I’ll have a word next time I’m in and report back.

If that doesn’t work out I can book my local village hall for £50, but we’ll have to bring our own pop and crisps.

Count me in too. As long as it's not when I'm away, which is the latter two weeks in July I think.

The pub says YES!

The room holds 50 people. Provisionally a Friday in September 2016.

So, we'll cover our costs and give a good chunk to charity.

Like this... but with pies!

Not yet! I'll stump up the £100 then sell tickets afterwards. I was thinking of £7.50 a pop. That way I only need to sell 14 to cover costs leaving potentially £270 to charity.

I just need to sort out the logistics of it all.

With this length of notice, why not make a weekend of it? I'd happily head south from Ayrshire for a weekend of film and riding, pies and beer!.

I was thinking that- lots nearby (cafe instanbul etc) but a pita(?) with potentially upto 50- although 2xeateries or... A BBQ outside at the Church? May work if there is that many etc.

Let's just keep the pub bit simple for now.

They do B&B if you want to stay and there are a few places to eat that you can sort out amongst yourselves.

As long as there's beer, riding and somewhere to park the stealth camper, I'm in!.

And the chance to meet a living legend.....

It looked a good deal on the trailer endorsed by a famous world record tandem duo so went for the £70 party 2 tickets in Hebden, but for a tenner I'll take chance this screening will be on a different night put me down
