Need the instructions in totality really. The problem is I took the instructions out when I went to get tool I didn't have and then I'm not entirely sure where I put it.

Small allen key screw in the lever - remove this

Un attach cable from lever pull on the seatpost

Push out cable which come out with gear nipple fron the lever

rob - sadly, smart arse, that doesn't cover the conversion from the lever to the remote. I could have a reasonable guess on the missing bits (as I could with JYs) but I'd much prefer the full instructions if anyone had them. Which was why I asked.

they are the instructions that come with it.

Its easy:
screw on the cable guide in the hole on the back
knock pin out of the actuator on the seatpost head and remove the lever
put new actuator on and hammer pin back in
attach remote to bar
cabe thru cable guide on back of post, plastic cable cover over exposed bit
screw cable clamp down
done

and it shows pictures of each bit and where they go - are you serious you cannot follow those?
