[#2373630]

Just fitted a Joplin (after giving it a full service) and used the correct amount/weight of oil and air pressure etc. But... I can't seem to make my 10.5 stone push the post down more than an inch so I assume I need to remove some oil and/or air.

Anyone any idea which and how much?

Ta
Dave

Dave, are you sure you haven't bought a Joplin 1 by mistake? ๐Ÿ˜‰
I'm sure the instructions have a trouble shooting section in the back that covers that sort of thing. I'll dig them out for you and have a look.

Is it a Jolplin 3 or 4?

Sounds like you've got a bit too much fluid in there. How much did fluid did you put in?

I'd take a bit out but make sure you properly remove all the air before doing so seen as i recently repainted my ceiling servicing my joplin.

Adjust air and see what happens - like you would an air fork with limited
travel
When i put insufficeint oil in mine the top 1/2 would just drop under my weight. Perhaps too much doe sthe opposite?
