Quick question, I got the no flats kit with rim strip. I got it fitted and inflated but it looks like the strip is to wide for the rim. I got the 19mm-25mm strip for my DT Swiss x430 rims (there website says its 24mm).
Withe the tire inflated I can see the edge of the rim strip just poking out from where the bead sits. Is this normal and will it be ok to run it like this, I thought the strip would be completely hidden inside the rim.
They should overlap like that, it's normal. I think the instructions say if you can't see the rim strip you may have problems?
Ok shall see how I go. Just been looking around and think I may have got the wrong strip though. The rims may be 18mm ID so The strips are a bit in the big side. Still if they stay up a guess it's not an issue having some extra overlap!
