Does anyone else suffer problems with the pump head on a Joe Blow track pump bending the valve? It can be minimised by only unscrewing a quarter of a turn, but then it takes weeks to inflate.
No - no issues here, and used on quite a few different valves.
erm, nope. It sounds to me like you're not pushing the nozzle on the valve properly so it hangs off and bends it. Push it all the way on, pull the lever in place to lock it then it stays in place.

Are you talking about presta valves? If you don’t have the head on fully it’s very easy to bend them. It’s probably as you’re pulling on the lever to lock the head on when it’s not on the valve enough.
The best pump head I’ve found is the Lezyne Abs one that I’ve recently got. I’ve had various cheap track pumps / joe blow 2 pump / Lifeline tubeless inflator etc - this Lezyne one is far nicer to use.

I have a Joe Blow pump, I have also bent some valve cores.
I don't think it was the pump that was the problem, more the user.....
I’ve had mine years and never had this problem - they’ve been good pumps.
Just bought a new JoeBlow track pump. Working fine for me. And I can read the dial.
