If a job advet says
"28 days annual leave entitlement including bank holidays"
Does this mean 28 days holiday plus the Bank Holidays as extra?
Or does it mean the Bank Holidays come out of the 28 days?

28 Days including all your bank hols to make it 28 days in total.
My contract is 28 days (or whatever) plus 10 days in lieu of bank holidays, but that is an NHS contract for nursing on shift work, where we're reasonably expected to work a number of the statutory bank holidays each year.
The clue is in the word "including"
28 days inc bank holidays!!!! Funk that!

In 10 years of employment thats all i've ever had and have been pretty happy with that TBH.
Imagine it will come as a shock when i leave uni. Currently get about 10 weeks off a year. Most courses have around 18-20 weeks holiday.

Think I get approx 120 days a year inluding bank holidays.

I have worked in the Furniture industry my whole working life so far.....Unfortunantly 20 days plus Bank Holidays is the norm IME. Sounds like i drew the short straw career wise ๐
