If a job advet says
"28 days annual leave entitlement including bank holidays"

Does this mean 28 days holiday plus the Bank Holidays as extra?

Or does it mean the Bank Holidays come out of the 28 days?

Ta

PS sorry I put it in the bike forum

My contract is 28 days (or whatever) plus 10 days in lieu of bank holidays, but that is an NHS contract for nursing on shift work, where we're reasonably expected to work a number of the statutory bank holidays each year.

When the hell did 28 days holiday come to be considered not much?!

In 10 years of employment thats all i've ever had and have been pretty happy with that TBH.

Imagine it will come as a shock when i leave uni. Currently get about 10 weeks off a year. Most courses have around 18-20 weeks holiday.
