[Closed] Jerseys for those with a long torso?

[#10305015]

At 6'1" I'm taller than average but not exactly a giant, however I must have long torso or something as I often find that jerseys sit too high up for my liking.

I have a couple of dhb winter jerseys which I've decided are too short for me and on trying on both a kalf and FW one in Evans the other day found the same there.

Does anyone know of any particular brands that are longer than others? I like the look of a stolen goat orkaan but wondering how they fit?

I guess I could just go and order a load from wiggle, try them on send a load back but would like to at least be in the correct ball park in the first place.

Does anyone in a similar position had any recommendations?

Cheers

I'm a bit long-of-torso for my 5ft 7in stature, so some mediums can let a draft in.

Notably long tops I have include Royal and Sombrio.

This is the Royal one actually, if you're after an MTB jersey I'd recommend it for its performance anyway.

Yep I have the exact same Royal Jersey and it is incredibly long, so much so that at 6' I sized down to a medium and it is still nice and long. Don't know if the sizing is similar on their other products.

Cheers guys, should have said that I'm actually after a road jersey for weekend rides and commuting. To a certain degree I'm happy to spend reasonable money if I can get something I like the fit of.

I have a club jersey made by Kalas, Polish I think

It's long and pretty nice too.  Thin, mind - not sure if they do heavier ones too

I'm 6ft1 with legs like Ronnie Corbett.

I don't generally have an issue with Road kit as my 46in chest means I'm in XXL+ stuff which might be a bit longer than "medium" and I wear bibs so there is no gap.

MTB stuff, I find Dakine and Sombrio kit to be the best fit for me.

Shame Sombrio don't seem to do road jerseys anymore.

I have a beautiful merino one by them that covers most of my arse.

I’ve got a Stolen Goat Orkaan jersey and it is a bit longer than my Rapha and FWE jerseys, I’m an XXL though but am long torso and short legs. Stolen Goat website is pretty comprehensive on dimensions from memory. It’s a bloody good jersey too!

For road jerseys Castelli, Sportful and La Passione are all plenty long enough in the body for me at 6'4", size large. DHB and Rapha come up shorter.

Cheers all, especially good news about the stolen goat. The dhb stuff is XL and whilst great around the chest is too short .will have a look at others too and it looks like the plan will be to just order some stuff and see how it goes

All the Planet X jerseys I’ve had have been considerably longer in the torso than any others I’ve got.

Vulpine. Too long for me (I’m mostly leg) so will be selling a couple for not a lot.
