Jedi, give the Magura brakes a chance, it might take a few rides to bed in but they should provide you with same power as Shimano with more modulation.
Are you running Magura rotors too?

I'd wondered how a much bigger, longer bike would suit all those narrow skinnies and jumps, but looks like no problem.

Maybe it's down to him being such a good rider.

FB29 jumps like a dream. The back end is relatively short which may hep with skinnies? Though I have to admit, I've not really tried mine on them yet.

I changed to xt again. Peaks, Woburn and a weeks coaching bedded them in but they are not as good as xt 4pots ime

Ok, I went the other way round, from Shimano 4 pot to Magura, I suffered the wandering bite point and I wanted to try something that is less on/off.

I love the power and modulator of shimano. Getting a coil shock for it too
