Don't suppose he mentioned why he is only 'boxing' 'it' 'up' now?

I contacted the police on this matter two nights ago and an officer took a statement last night. Maybe this has persuaded him, maybe something else and maybe youre right and it wont come.
I am optomystic that it will.....

Jesus if someone took 750 off of me they'd need a Pyschic to talk to me after I'd finished but then if I'd have paid £750 to save myself £26 I'd probably slap myself first.

That would be a very unusual fight to watch.

Whether or not Jensen takes time off from qualifying to get this situation wrapped up to the benefit of all (hope so, but know where my cash would be wagered..), threads like this highlight so much of what is good about Singletrack, good on all involved!

*heads off to remove non-existent carbon Bronson with XTR, Flow on Chris King etc etc from ebay/Pinkbike/Bumtree..*

You'd end it all just because you'd lost £750!

Don't suppose he mentioned why he is only 'boxing' 'it' 'up' now?

simple...he spent the £750 on a nice biking holiday in the Alps or somewhere wiht the OP's paid for Yeti.
he's probably trashed the bike and is now thinking "well, i might as well post it to him as its of no use anymore"
cue another thread..."bought a bike and its fekked!!"

Was the address in Bristol correct? If so, there are plenty of people on here who could go round and collect it today. Of course, you'd need to trust one of them but given the current situation, I'd say that was less risky than trusting Jenson Button to post the bike to you.

danger of that is he claims to have given bike to some random bod who turned up on his doorstep and washes his hands of the whole thing.

I'd stick with him posting it, tracked, direct to the buyer.

You got a text?
Then you's got his number..
Call him,ask for reason why delay, pass number to police for them to add to case.

Would you like us to wipe yer bum too??

i'd just drive down to collect the bike off him...assuming the address he has given you is legit. then i'd do what Hora suggested and give him a slap...Jensen Button that is....

Oi!! Hora....seatpost?!

Actually a 'don;t worry I'll collect in person' might be the best solution. Even sans slap it'll make sure you get the bike.

Or you could read the OP's posts where he's tried all that and already contacted the Police?

Looking at the picture, he's definitely on Mendip Road in the image. next question is whether you "bought" the frame off Janzen Boulton or someone using his name & profile.

I know the area well and am around all weekend so would be happy to collect for you in person if that option arises.

Paypal gift requires either absolute trust or an insignificant amount of money e.g. £20.

I have enough trepidation about buying stuff off a private individual when hundreds of pounds are concerned with fully protected paypal.

Good luck with either getting your frame or cash back.

I have a tracking number.......

That was suspiciously quick.

1. Why hasn't he posted till now?

2. Out of curiosity, what is the format of the tracking number?

3. And if what bruneep says is true, you ain't going to know till, what...Tuesday?

Although, I assume the OP doesn't really give a shit about questions from the floor if he gets his bike back. Bloody classified only users etc etc 8)

My email is in my profile - I work with all the major courier companies so can tell you right away if the tracking number is legit as well as getting you a bit more info.
