Hi I'm looking for a road, easy offroad , bit of touring bike. Does anyone own one? Any views? Cheap with all the discounts at the moment. I was also looking at the Orra Terra S for similar duties. I have a Turner Nitrous for lumpier offroad and a Lynskey for pure road riding when lanes are clearer!

<li style="text-align: left;">Yes these are a very well built steel gravel bike. The geometry is nice and well balanced as you say for a mix of duties and has everything you would look for in a decent gravel bike. It comes with a double so more range for road use but can easily be converted to single ring. As you would expect it comes in a bit weighty due to the steel frame but this is rewarded back with the nice ride quality and the stronger frame giving more versatility and peace of mind if touring etc. Good spec for the price and for the £1k mark is hard to beat I would say this year. There's a lot of bargains in this bike category but not with 525steel frame and grx groupset, certainly the sub £1k range.
Saw this bike on HotUKDeals earlier, £850 with code at Millets for 2*10 sub compact hydraulic brake bike that can take 700*50mm tyres looks a steal!
Only downside is last time I checked, mediums low in stock and next size up was XL with ~396mm reach and ~630mm stack from searching geo on web.
Yes. Easily decent value as was a lot more when released with a high grade spec and decent frame. Not many better steel rigs around the £1k mark and a lot of options with this bike.
I saw one yesterday at Go Outdoors in Southampton. Lower spec model (S4), but same frame and wheels. Looked very tidy for the money. Plenty of room for bigger tyres and or mudguards. S3 spec comes and goes on various sites.
