I am thinking of buying a Jamis Dakar A1 as i can get it for £975. Does anyone have any experiance of them, what are they like to ride?
I mainly ride in and around the South Downs or the New Forest with the odd trip to trail centres. I’m not in to jumping and tend to keep my wheels on the ground.

I bought one last spring and I really like it. I changed the tyres for high rollers and better pedals. If you can get it for that price then go for it!
I nearly bought one the other week, bit I ended up going for a 2018 Marin Hawk Hill instead.
The Dakar 2 with NX eagle is great value and super pretty.
I have an A2 and I love it for riding round the High Peak. Would definitely go for the A1 at that price!
Oh yeah, I had it the other way round. The A1 for £975 is a bargain.
