Never happened before, not in my sleep. I daydream plenty on here!
Last night I dreamed I was looking for a Giant Defy as a winter road bike, the night before I dreamed I was building up a a Santa Cruz Tall Boy. Got as far as Fox forks and Hope Hoops and then woke up whilst trying to decide if XT was worth the extra over SLX... 😐
Bikes can be come quite obsessive but i have never got to the point where i am dreaming about them, though they do take up a lot of my time wether that being riding/training/building or maintaining so i guess if your perhaps like me and you go to bed with things on your mind then you have the chance you may dream about bikes!!!
Me... i would rather be dreaming of fit females riding a bike!!! lol
Oh and i would if you can afford go for XTR over both XT or SLX...lol
I always dream that I can do that endo and spin the back end round 180 and cycle off in the other direction thing. Which of course I can't.
No XTR even in my wildest dreams!
XT or SLX well if you want to use the rings then XT but if you will be running a single ring then SLX as the arms are pretty much the same weight...

Can't say I have dreamt about bikes.
Last night I dreamt an x Girlfriends dad ( deceased for some years ) hid my keys which I eventually found buried deep under a newly planted tree.
Have no idea what that means.

You know, you can make your dreams come true! At the start of 2013, i couldn't do an endo turn, now 12months, and quite a few fall offs later, i CAN!
Get out there on your bike, and try it 😉
(recommend flat pedals and nice soft grass to start off with..........)

That would explain a few things, like the occasional use of moisturiser and my recent thoughts of maybe investing in some Lycra. 😀
I never dream about bike parts but I've had loads of riding dreams. A few trips to Whistler will leave you so desperate to get back there that I regularly find myself riding A-line in my sleep. Of course I absolutely rule it as well. If I have a few weeks off the bike I find myself dreaming about local singletrack.
Turns out I can't identify frames in my sleep, the one I was building up was a High Ball not a Tall Boy....
Now, strangely, just wandered up the road from the in laws house and their LBS had the Giant Defy in stock. Clearly meant to be.....
Then I discovered/remembered that in my dream I was buying bikes on my own, and not not buying bikes with my wife....
Last night I dreamt gypsies were trying to steal one of my eyes, and I was trying to escape by bike.
Weird....unless there was particularly seductive naked lady drapped over one 😉

Had a dream about my brother (who I ride with)buying an oldish T4 and loading up with bikes and camping gear and me and him setting off to have a holiday in the alps woke up just as we were departing the ferry 🙁
