Ordered my new cyclescheme bike. Went for the Black and White 2015 Cube Peloton Sl. Can't find any reviews of the 2015 version only the 2014 Race. So my decision was based on that and the spec. Anyone else got one yet?
Are people still using this silly phrase? In this day and age? Welcome to the world of road riding BTW. Ride fast and you'll love it.
Nice bike
I want the red one
I give it 3 weeks before you realise road bikes are rubbish and you're only 1mph quicker than on your MTB.
something something something, Dark-side

This isn't a hora post.
You purchased a road bike on review and spec only? Did you test ride? Have you heard of Hora?
Anyway, don't listen to weeksy, you might think that after 3 weeks, but stick with it and after 3 months you'll think they are brilliant ๐
Edited for the pedants.
You joined the darkside and you bought a road bike? Blimey, busy day.
I give it 3 weeks before you realise road bikes are [s]rubbish[/s] awesome and you're [s]only 1mph[/s] three times quicker than on [s]your MTB. [/s] Weeksy ๐
I'm sure I'm at least 3 times quicker on my road bike than on Weeksy ๐

I bought both my On-One's based on reviews and spec. I love them. Last time I rode a road bike I was 11. So only 25 years ago. I've been measured up correctly and went for the best bike in my budget and the measurements I was given. I would have liked the Red 'n' Black but it's not available in my size until April ๐
Now I need to find another Black and Red SLR saddle...
the best bike
Determined form reviews and spec sheets? ๐
Hope it works out ok. Looks nice anyway.
You're doing it wrong!I give it 3 weeks before you realise road bikes are rubbish and you're only 1mph quicker than on your MTB.
I have never had a test ride on a bike. Is it wrong that I have been so pleased having gone just on specs and reviews?

Basically the same for me. Of my current bikes, only one was "test ridden" (actually, i had to ride a customers bike and then decided I wanted one too). I've made one "wrong" decision by doing so - but that's over several years.
Give it 5 seconds before you realise the brakes are terrifyingly bad.

Nothing wrong with that. You're just taking a calculated risk that it'll be good for you. I've done it with quite a few cheaper frames.

And then set them up properly and find they're quite good!

I prefer the caliper brakes on my summer bike to the BB7's on the cross bike I'm using in the winter. The caliper brakes have more control, don't lock so easily and most importantly don't squeak like a banshee the minute it rains.
Logical. Long time no see...
The "darkside" was obviously too much for him.
Or the terrible brakes have brought about his early demise.
It's "dark side". Two separate words. As in "dark side of the moon"
Welcome.......it's the future
